My Word - Spring 2022

We were disappointed that for the second season due to commitments in Dallas we have not been able to participate in this summer’s season of Antiques Roadshow traveling again to five cities. That being said the next few months will probably be busiest we have had in some time. We are offering Elizabeth Boeckman’s collection of Southwest Prehistoric art as well their Pre-Columbian art much of which was collected over 40 years ago. We are also appraising a major estate collection of over 600 tribal art objects some of which are very well known and published works. And there are several other clients ranging from Native American to Oceanic seeking our help in the disposition of their objects. Fortunately we have a new intern, Francesca Norman, sister of Ana Norman who interned with us several years ago. You will hear more about her.

Many of you are familiar with our social media campaign which includes this newsletter, our blog at Arttrak.com and our postings on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin and pinterest for “Thoughts”, “Our World Just Because its Great”, “Art Just Because its Great”, and “Did You Know”

In August we are looking forward to the Virtual Objects of Art & American Indian/Tribal Santa Fe August 11-31, 2022 where we will offer some of the finds we have mentioned above. We will send out the web address and more information in August.

So at the moment the world is nuts. Cherish your family and friends. Don’t believe anything you can’t verify and have fun this summer. JB
