Parcours des Mondes - Paris - 2024
Parcours des Mondes 2024 is an international art fair focusing on the arts of Africa, Oceania, Asia, the Americas, and archaeology. The event took place from September 10 to September 15, 2024, in the historic Saint-Germain-des-Prés district of Paris. Exhibitions and Participants: The fair included a wide range of exhibitions showcasing tribal art, Asian art, and classical archaeology. Notable galleries such as Zubek Gallery from Germany and Michael Hamson Oceanic Art from the USA participated.Special Features: The 2024 edition included a "Showcase" section and a special carte blanche given to artist François Avril. Additionally, the Prix Pierre Moos was organized in partnership with Christie's. Artistic Themes: The event featured thematic exhibitions that explored connections between different art forms. For instance, a notable exhibition titled "Zones de Contact" examined the links between Surrealism and the art of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas. Free Admission: As with previous editions, entry to Parcours des Mondes was free for all visitors.
