Meet Our New Intern - Maria Camila Rodriguez - Summer 2024

Hi there! My name is Maria Camila Rodriguez-Daza, and my hometown is in McPherson, Kansas. I am a senior at the University of Dallas, double majoring in studio art (painting) and business administration. I have been drawing and creating magical worlds since I was little-- I hope to follow in the footsteps of the greats and share stories through my works that invoke truth, beauty, and a sprinkle of whimsy.

While I have experimented in marketing, public affairs, human relations, and journalism, my objective in this internship is to delve deeper into what it means to be a professional artist and how to manage a gallery with such meaningful historical importance. I thank John Buxton and his colleagues for granting me this opportunity, and seriously considering how to take my career to new heights. I’m excited to see what the future will bring!
